New NSF projects at UMD paused. This afternoon they told PIs not to submit new NSF proposals, new submissions cannot reference the 15% indirect cost rate, and if anyone has awards referencing that rate they aren't allowed to spend against them.

“Here’s what trump did TO you today”. A blunt list w/o strong condemnations, etc. Same time, 1x/week or Mondays & Weds or whatever, 1 congressman, 5 senators, whoever’s available. Pick a medium, be consistent, just facts in simple direct English.

the world did nothing when russians murdered a dozen kids with cluster munitions in Kryvyi Rih last week so russians carried on and hit with missiles ordinary people in Sumy on their way to church today. unchecked evil brings more evil.
On Palm Sunday, russian missiles struck the city center of Sumy. Local authorities report numerous dead and injured. This is despicable. Witkoff should be proud of the “peace” his negotiations enable.
