I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

AOC's outrage and moral clarity on this issue is on point. It endangers all women and trans women are women, period.

Speaking from experience, I recommend a Klondike bar (No dishes or cleanup involved)
Among my friends I have coined the term "academic lady dinner" which is a bowl of cereal and a glass of wine. Because you can't bother to cook, but you still want a glass of wine.

My favorite thing about ADHD is how some days it makes me a superhero and some days it makes it utterly impossible to do the absolute simplest tasks. And I have no way of knowing which thing it will be at any given time.
