I can't comment, but at least as far back as Mary I in England, when violence committed against humans was less important than the violence committed against faith and the vehicles of faith (i.e. churches). The denunciation of several "heretics" came on nothing more than the strength of their brick.

I'm not an advocate for violence, but as I told a friend the other day, not enough people get popped in the mouth for the shit they say on the internet. If more people understood that saying this to someone's face was a good way to take a nap, there'd be less people saying it.

It's really strange how the secretary of war doesn't know that actually lost battles aren't fought on the battlefield anymore, so the physical "fitness" of soldiers is not either a required or desired trait in a military having difficulty recruiting.
Hegseth: "It all starts with physical fitness and appearance. If the secretary of war can do regular hard PT, so can every member of our joint force. Frankly, it's tiring to look out at combat formations and see fat troops. Likewise, it's completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals."
