Bluesky hive mind! Do you happen to know any folk tales/fairy tales/fables where children are tricked into killing their mother? There's no shortage of wicked parents/stepparents in stories, but I've been wracking my brain & I can't think of an example where kids are hoodwinked into parental murder

I've slept two nights in a row without any sort of sleep aid. For me, this is unusual.

I have been actively watching contracts and surge funding over the last few days and what I would say to my friends in Baltimore is “be absolutely ready, right now.”

I seem to remember whole congressional hearings about the terrible destructive force that is violence in video games and yet, there is a very strange quiet about an unregulated technology that coaches people to suicide.
