On this day in 1971, the Supreme Court heard oral argument in Reed v. Reed. Sally Reed successfully challenged an Idaho law favoring men over women as administrators of their relatives’ estates. Her victory was the 1st time the Ct had ever agreed that a law denied women equal protection. #WeTheMen
