According to a new study from a respected US think tank, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Britain’s decision to leave the EU has meant that its GDP is between 6 per cent and 8 per cent smaller than it would have been.

Here’s The S*n’s pathetic, microscopic apology for one of the biggest lies in modern British politics - the “benefits tourism” fairy tale that conned millions and helped drag us into Brexit. They poison democracy with front-page lies, then whisper “sorry” in tiny print.

As much as we might hold Ken Clark up as an example of a decent Tory here is a timely reminder for us that he is still a Tory.

Cutting spending & lower taxes is what he wants. He criticises the Chancellor for not implementing these policies.

That suggests the Chancellor is doing the right thing!

It’s not a make or break Budget.

It’s a Budget.

Same as we have every year.

Sometimes they’re good. Sometimes they’re not.

Morning all.
Opened my phone this morning to find a Sky News offering of 'Will this be a pasty budget'. What does that even mean?
No, just no.

It will be interesting but predictable to see how Farage and the right wing press go about suppressing the fact that Nathan Gill is now in jail after working for the Russians. And all those useful idiots putting up flags because they think Reform stands for patriotism. Will they never learn!

Bossy headline from The Times letting Farage insist his “Hitler was right” racism was just ‘banter’.
If that were true, his politics now would be different and he’d apologise. He’s defensive because this is what he is and always has been and he’s angry with us for knowing that and for minding.

My attendance record in the European Parliament was the 4th worst out of 751 MEPs, yet I managed to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation.
Thankfully this is of no interest to the media.

The depressing truth about revelations of Farage's schoolboy racism is that it won't hurt him at all. Because a huge proportion of the #Reform voting demographic will remember their own 'banter' [sic] from when they were that age. It will simply reinforce their sense that he is 'one of us'.

Toby Young, self-appointed king of free speech, is speaking in Hungary tomorrow about UK “censorship”.

He’ll be addressing a group funded by Viktor Orbán’s autocratic regime, which has seized control of the country’s media, judiciary, and routinely harasses its critics

The only reason Gill stopped being the Reform UK leader in Wales was because he failed to win a seat in the 2021 Senedd election.

Zia Yusuf keeps trying to make this sound like this is ancient history, and Reform washed their hands of him, but nothing is further from the truth.
