Absolutely this. I set up and managed the Twitter accounts for Dept International Trade, and at the time there was a strong case for them to have them. Now the platform is toxic, but also the comms is getting zero reach anyway.
Time to re-up my suggestion as to something the Labour government can do - without fanfare and in a way that would be hard for Musk to complain about - to cut away at his influence. labourlist.org/2024/08/labo...
