This popped up on LinkedIn as an ad. I’m fucking disgusted.
Flush the Turd-In-Chief down.
I consider myself a fairly patient person, but I can't listen to another second of this ridiculous, wheezing idiot. I'm done. Nothing he is saying aligns with anything that is really happening in the real world.

Seriously very close to downgrading my phone and going back to as close to landline as I can get these days.

Has anyone thought to try impeaching the Turd in Chief? Or is has that just been an over done concept?

I feel like we’re one step closer to having mandatory portraits of him in our homes and calling him Great Leader and Father America.
What’re the chances he’ll resign? 🤔

Weekly reminder for the upcoming “list” that I not only object but actively dissent from this regime and all it stands for. It goes against my constitutional rights.

I’m avoiding grading anything until tomorrow. Tomorrow I will grade all the things.

I have noticed a significant issue in the classrooms I teach in: no first aid kits. So, it’s on me to build one on my own dime specially for trauma care because that’s where the most vulnerable need will be when it arises.

As a university professor my biggest concern for my students is their safety. These students grew up with lockdown drills, or experienced a shooter themselves. School should be a safe place, not a war zone. My students fear loud noises and movements in the hallway. They are on edge, everywhere.

We view fascism in America as nascent, unfortunately it is inherent to our foundations and we never did anything to reform ourselves away from this inevitability.

Boston Glob ran an article about how “typically” mass violence and shootings are seen at the elementary school level and how university shootings are becoming increasingly common…I had to stop and pause. Never should we be talking about mass killings as typical. Ever. We should be enraged.

My heart goes out to my fellow colleagues and to the students who have been impacted by this devastating event. I hope for the safety of all and for sincere condolences to those we lost.
There’s an active shooter down the street from me at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island

We could have had a far different and more varied approach to how we organized our society. Instead, we chose greed over the pursuit of happiness and compassion.
My most fundamental belief is that we do not have to live like this.

1. A new Florida bill would make it illegal for State, County, and Local employers and special districts from firing transphobes.

It would apply to airports, hospitals, even parts of Disneyworld.

It also establishes a private business "don't say gay" policy.

A proper government would be enacting legislation that makes it illegal to generate an AI version of a someone without their explicit permission and ongoing consent.

This has been an exhausting semester mostly because I dedicated it to critical thinking and critical analysis. Most students encountered this for the first time and I was shocked (probably shouldn’t have been) to learn that. Here’s to 2026, the rinse and repeat.

without birthright citizenship in the united states, you don't have a democracy and you don't have rule of law.

revoking birthright citizenship gives fascists free rein to purge the country of literally anyone they don't like. it opens the door to atrocities and mass murder. i am not exaggerating.
