Trump is targeting our home, but city councilors and Portlanders are not sitting back. This Wednesday, we’re presenting our joint resolution, the Protect Portland Initiative, to safeguard our neighbors who are being targeted by this administration’s aggressive and unlawful agenda.

I don't know what you have planned, but can you bring it to @hollywoodtheatre.org in Portland too? 😀

Second time going to the "Stardew Valley Symphony of Seasons". The animations were amazing and just made me want to play more of the game. Also loved that they played Balatro music during intermission.

"To have that moment taken away was a bummer. But as the night unfolded, I felt like what happened was just as valuable — if not more so — than a conversation with Mayor Wilson."

Here's what happened at the Mayor Wilson interview last night

What stands out is Mayor Wilson being absent from the hour of discussion and building that followed. A perfect opportunity for him to meaningfully engage with people. He should be making himself part of these conversations instead of you having to do so much work just to get a word in with him.

So far, I haven’t heard satisfactory answers to my questions and I remain very concerned not just about the impacts of removing these diverters, but about the precedent we would set by doing so.

Here's the latest on the City's attempt to remove diverters in northwest Portland
This is a test of how Portland's new government makes decisions.

Honest question:
Do newspapers and news sites have some sort of rule where names or proper nouns can never be used in headlines?

Is there a measurable decline in engagement when attribution is tucked behind a click?

Most of the internet used to be like this. This is actually the default, it took companies enclosing the internet and adding weird, soul-killing incentives to make people behave the way they do now. In a way, there is truly nothing special about Wikipedia except that it survived longer.
“Wikipedia is this economic anomaly. In many ways, it’s sort of magical that people will just volunteer without explicit economic incentives to create artifacts that are meant to share knowledge with everyone in the world”
