Clearly prioritizing transit & livability is important in our city. Enough that people took risks to invite their friends & neighbors to caucus with them, and that's not just a "hey, come to this thing convo". It _is_ an invitation into leading and I'm so glad for everyone who did it.

I appreciate Alec's sincerity and the way that he grounds these issues in humanity. This is a rant, but it is grounded in very human issues of agency and self-knowledge that are under-expressed in a lot of parts of society.

The more I think through this, the more I think buses should stay on Nicollet. For whatever it costs to rebuild these other streets, we can make an amazing Nicollet Mall for pedestrians *and* transit riders.
