Hi, I’m Larry. I’m an Asst Prof of Earth and Env. Science where I teach courses primarily in the atmospheric and ocean sciences. My students and I also conduct research that focuses on climate change education.
Tonight’s update has left me more disappointed in the quality of healthcare in America.
Now, I get pneumonia. 2025, can you please stop? I need a break and some relief.

Yesterday, in the waiting room, I listened to 2 people complain about not getting to vote in the NYC race for Mayor.

What Rosalind Franklin truly contributed to the discovery of DNA’s structure
Franklin was no victim in how the DNA double helix was solved. An overlooked letter and an unpublished news article, both written in 1953, reveal that she was an equal player.

Yes, I can agree after 3 months of going from doctor to doctor. Although, I can’t say I trusted each doctor I visited especially the ones who told me I needed to see a psychiatrist or to get out in the sun.
I’d see one if I had to, but not a fan of doctors who dismiss their patients.

These survey findings are spot on! We Americans trust our health professionals but dislike the so-called US “healthcare system”—which prioritizes profits for hospitals & insurers over people’s health.
Universal access to healthcare—and a focus on prevention—would help make America great again.
