If anything, Andor makes Rogue One worse. A sloppy, shallow film becomes a sloppy, shallow epilogue.
yes i have seen ANDOR, no it does not “make it better” because any given film should be evaluated on its own as a standalone text.

Finished Christopher Isherwood's "Goodbye to Berlin" yesterday, and there are far too many moments that feel far too current for comfort.

I don't know Sabrina but this is true for myself and those I know as well. Vibes are bad!
amazing how everyone I know is having the absolute worst time on top of all combination world historical tragedies and impending ecological collapse 🙌 incredible what happens everything comes together

I love hearing accents and other languages as I go through my daily life. I love when I have the opportunity to communicate with someone through a language barrier. It reminds me of the vastness of the world. I don't understand why anyone, let alone so many, want the world to be smaller.

We really underestimate what was lost when we stopped having network TV Movies of the Week. I grew up watching a VHS of this and The Fifth Element ABC Saturday Night Movie broadcasts, commercials and all. The optimal way to watch movies, lost to time.
let’s do this

This happened to me recently and the guy watched Candace Owens videos the entire flight.
One day god will seat me next to a hot man on an airplane.

Went to sleep at 10 last night instead of midnight and I feel refreshed and awake this morning. Unfair.

In the slowest coffee line of my life. Everyone in front of me seems to just be discovering what coffee is when they get to the register. This poor barista (and poor me)!

I love this place so much. I used to live across the street from it and it was a great place to stop in to just slow down and browse and be surrounded by coziness.
I've found the perfect Instagram account. Seattle's Twice Sold Tales owner Jamie recommends books and shows her cats. That's it.

Love this! Grew up in Kansas but would visit family in Maryland for summers. One of my favorite parts was the couple days we'd always rent a beach condo in Bethany Beach.
No Kings Rally in Bethany Beach, DE. Lots of people lining the street; lots of supportive horn honkings

Walking down the street in San Francisco, Dave Chappelle stepped into me coming out of a coffee shop.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Has enough time passed to admit that Maestro was pretty great, actually?

Feels deeply wrong to me that Kerri Kenney-Silver was never on The Righteous Gemstones.

Regarding that grandma dream Jordan Peterson except going around--what he's talking about is what it is, but what really shocked me is just how badly written it is. Just terrible. Can't fathom reading an entire book with that prose.

Just had the realization that I prefer watching 4K scans on regular blu-ray rather than 4K discs themselves. 4Ks are almost too sharp. Movies shouldn't be that clear!

One of our neighbors, nice guy has a Tesla (not a Cybertruck) and today I noticed he slapped am Audi logo on it. I get it, but you're not fooling anyone Ted!

This is the same reason I've never been a fan of the "born this way" messaging. It accepts the idea that we owe an explaination and excuse for our gayness. We don't!
The framing of gay being okay because it’s not a choice isn’t my favorite framing because in my gay opinion I don’t think it matters whether it’s a choice. There’s just simply nothing wrong with it

There's just no actual way for the US to host its World Cup matches next year as things are now, right?

Watched Queer last night. Have seen mixed opinions, but i loved it. Something about Guadagnino always hits right on my wavelength. He's the anti-Paolo Sorrentino.

you have to be genuinely stupid as fuck to think american companies are going to respond to tariffs by building factories and moving manufacturing to the US. i don't know how else to say it. you have to be genuinely braindead
