It's now week two of my adhd medication being unavailable everywhere.This is the third medicine I've been prescribed over the years because the other two also became impossible to get via prescription after covid.

It was so lovely being in Sydney with my fellow Australians and it’s never enough time. Now I’m on a plane to Tokyo, listening to the Witcher 3 soundtrack, reading a Witcher book I got at the airport and letting the flight map do it’s thing. It’s nice to be away from home in the states for a bit.

I've never actually met someone who believes in the rapture. I didn't think people really believed in it. Guess that's from not growing up here? I will feel a bit bad for them when nothing happens tomorrow - I can't imagine believing in something that much and it not coming true.

In between leaving Japan and moving to America I backpacked around the world for four months. I had a big backpack of my stuff (and my green card paperwork) and that’s all I had when I arrived here. Anyhow I’m about to pack for a two week work trip and I can’t figure out what to pack. 😶

I wish many things but especially that these hateful people would leave trans people alone. It’s so sad that my eldest has the 2025 anti-trans bills tracker on their homepage of their phone. They should just be focused on living their life, not being scared about what will happen to them.

The last two nights were right up there with the best NIN shows I’ve been to. I think my first ever was in 1995 at the Alternative Nation festival in Melbourne. Yes, I’m old as dirt - or just heavily influenced by the crow soundtrack as a HS senior.

Well I survived move in day at college for my kid. Both of us were delaying me leaving, but I eventually had to be the one to say ok I’d better go, we both had a big cry, and I left.
