It was so lovely being in Sydney with my fellow Australians and it’s never enough time. Now I’m on a plane to Tokyo, listening to the Witcher 3 soundtrack, reading a Witcher book I got at the airport and letting the flight map do it’s thing. It’s nice to be away from home in the states for a bit.

The last two nights were right up there with the best NIN shows I’ve been to. I think my first ever was in 1995 at the Alternative Nation festival in Melbourne. Yes, I’m old as dirt - or just heavily influenced by the crow soundtrack as a HS senior.

It’s going to be so quiet at home without her but I’m so excited for her next adventures and I’m also VERY proud of her choice of posters for her dorm room.❤️

I'm heading back to Japan in a couple of weeks for the first time since I left in 2003 and I'm so excited to revisit those years I spent there in my early 20s. My friends who are still there have told me that a lot has changed. I wonder if the basic Japanese I learned will magically come back
