Kohli, you mad, incredible beast of a cricketer. You will be missed.

(Having said that, it'll be fascinating over the next few days to see who the conclave of BCCI batting elders will appoint as Indian cricket's next Test batting icon.)
Virat Kohli brings the curtain down on a glorious Test career that included 123 Tests - 68 of them as captain - in which he scored 9230 runs at an average of 46.85

"No Other Land," the Palestinian-Israeli made film showing the destruction of the occupied West Bank's Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers, just won the Oscar for Best Documentary.

It can't get a distributor in the US.

Which tells you everything about censorship in the US.

All of this is wild
One of the wildest stories in associate cricket in recent years has been the fake games scandal in French women's cricket. The national team as it then was essentially ceased to exist with the players (rightly IMO) unwilling to apologise for their part in bringing the scandal to attention. (1/2)

Have only taken the 46A a few times when going to UCD, but stories like these make me sad. 99 years of a bus service! Moving to a new flat today where the 46A would be one of the few connections to the centre, so I missed out on it, but glad that it's being replaced by a 24 hour line.
