In case people were curious, my lemon pig did NOT age well.
A two week old lemon pig, who has grown mold in its ears and mouth. The penny has fallen from his mouth. His lemon body sags low.

Also I saw folks posting lemon pigs, so here is a photo from our new year's party, with many thanks to @adrianricker.bsky.social for organizing the craft section of the night. Every time I look at our pigs, I am filled with delighted laughter.

✨Art vs Artist✨

2024 was a wild ride for me, art-wise. It's like I couldn't sit still with one medium. Pins, gouache, watercolor, painted sculptures, digital. A real jack-of-all-trades year for me. Maybe I'll settle down with one type of art this year (lol maybe).

Canh Sườn Khoai Tây Cà Rốt. Vietnamese spare rib soup with carrots, potatoes, and chayote with a rice base. I've not been great at posting on socials (again) (sorry) (it happens a lot). Here's a quick catch up on the projects I've been focusing on the last few months: tiger masks (little sister and big sister), and shishi guardian lion dogs. Epoxy clay with acrylic paints!

Had the pleasure of presenting at a local K-8 school with @benfisher.bsky.social on how to make comics. The kids were great and offered fun ideas, and as usual Ben's comedic timing landed perfectly.

The school also made an amazing sign for their readathon and also made us a welcome sign 😭😭😭

unlike glaze, though, you should run EVERY image you post through nightshade: memes, screenshots, food photos, literally everything you can, because they WILL be scraped and every time they are, it fucks the dataset up a bit more
