It's possible it's been patched since, but Arco on Switch at launch had a lot of bugs that not only fully crashed my game a few times, but had effects on a few mid-game fights. It was ultimately fine, but worth knowing.

Really excited for the ep! This is a game I end up replaying basically annually ever since I got my 64 as a kid. I have a lot of fondness for it.

I might suggest trying Beastieball. It's not trying to just make a pokemon again but with their own sprites (see: every other pokemon-like). It has it's own puzzle-combat, fun designs, and it's own fun energy while still feeling like the scope of the earlier pokemon games. I think you might like it!
