This morning my ChatGPT quota was inexplicably exhausted.

It took a while but I pieced it together. Voice mode somehow got activated when I went to bed.

The bot then engaged in a 10 hour conversation with my snoring dog, answering questions the pup wasn’t asking and praising him for his insight.

@etobias-musiced.bsky.social hi Prof. hope you’re doing well. I was wondering if there was any chance you could share your templates for your session and assignment plans in obsidian?

This is the most idiotic thing I’ve read this week.

Who wants this? Consumers want finished, polished games to play, i.e., consume. It’s why we use the term “consumer.”

Then there’s the overriding issue of “this technology doesn’t even work.”

What is going on? Are people eating paint chips?

@shrikhalpada.dev hi Shri. I was just reading your article on data viz as an art. Very insightful and interesting article.

I was just wondering if it would be possible for you to share the code used in the visualisations? I’m interesting in learning how you created some of them.

ATTENTION: NSF GRANT RECIPIENTS

We received a heads up from a trusted source that you should proactively download/print/screen shot any documentation on research.gov pertaining to your NSF awards, both those that are current and any that have closed in the last 5-6 years.

@thesiswhisperer.bsky.social @drjd.bsky.social hi guys. Great episodes as usual. Really enjoying the podcast.

Protip for generating flowcharts and diagrams using Claude - ask it to generate SVGs. They will be MUCH nicer.

When I cook Indian I sometimes make naan but other times roti. My son is ok with both but likes to know what to expect, and we realized this would be a… naan disclosure agreement.
I know people like naan, but there are other Indian breads. In the kinds of places that have naan you may find for example laccha paratha which I would blindly bet money you will like. There are also healthier and lighter ones like tandoori roti or roomali roti.
One time I was at a joint in England and I could’ve eaten 50 pounds of their naan and rice in one sitting
