I think this is valid in an odd way. "Authentic" can mean "the words attributed to me are the ones I'd like to have written" or "these are the words that I am capable of choosing", so Grammerly are offering an emotional/expressive authenticity over a creative one

Gaming hot take: Items in games should have expiration or best by dates. They should degrade in value over time to keep people from just hoarding them. This would drive a subset of gamers insane and I’m here for it.
