An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

Sick of the questions wondering if Zohran is "too young" at 34 from the same people who think Trump isn't "too old" at 79 & failing health.

BTW, Jefferson was 33, Madison was 25, Hamilton was 21, & Monroe was 18, & y'all trust them as infallible.

Vote Zohran Mamdani on Nov 4. Let's do this.

The first two episodes of the revival of Reading Rainbow have nearly 500,000 views each 🤯

Do you know how cool that is for literacy, for book joy?! We are all worthy of reading, we are all readers 💚

And NOW episode three is out! Take a look, it’s in a book 📚🌈🦋

I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

Firing a Black woman for quoting Kirk’s horrific statements about Black women is insane. It seems the Washington Post would rather perform politeness (and demand that the people Kirk harmed do it too) that tell the truth: karenattiah.substack.com/p/the-washin...

Tomorrow, September 11th, is "USA spirit day" for the football game at my school. (Yes, I have thoughts on that). One of my 10th grade students said he was going to dress up like a building. I stared him down while he insisted it was "just a joke."

A year later my doctoral graduation, my burnout was STILL going and my anxiety was through the roof--and climbing.

A friend recommended a cleaning service. I finally booked it. Just walked into my apartment for the first time in 5 YEARS and cried at the peace of a clean living space.

I appreciate how Zohran Mamdani treats Cuomo like an enemy to defeat instead of a 'respected colleague' the way democrats campaign against their opponents

"Andrew Cuomo is a sex offender who murdered the elderly at the request of his donors"
yes indeed, more like this please!
