So, Martin St. Louis sent Hutson on that hot lap so he could get rid of him and tell the team about the contract, which was announced just before practice was about to start. That's why they mobbed him when he was finished. Cool moment.

kind of wild that after a season spent recovering from a knee injury and yet still playing an important role in getting the habs to the playoffs (guess everyone forgot all those pp goals that got them wins in december), there is still a substantial number of fans trying to run him out of town

If you wanted to put Xhekaj in the lineup because he's an instant upgrade and provides an edge there it makes sense
