Over 11,000 people, mostly women and children, are missing in Gaza. The vast majority of them are likely dead. That puts the total number of Palestinians killed directly in Gaza at over 80,000.

Alaa Abd el-Fattah…has been reunited with his mother, Laila Soueif, who began a public hunger strike on September 29, 2024 to push for his release. She endured nearly ten months without food before ending her strike in July 2025. Today, mother and son are together again.

At some point there needs to be a broader understanding we will have to pay for such services one way or another - whether by subs or thru data mining of personal info, oligarch ownership, ads etc.
