I totally get you not being sad - obviously you can feel however you want. I’m more asking about refusing to take others’ sadness seriously. I can only speak for myself: it’s not about the product. It’s the loss of my hobby. I mean, I’m moving on to others, as is the healthy response IMO, but still.

The issue appears to be the existence of OpenSubtitles.org, and I fear a reaction which only acts as a further entrenching of copyright as an impediment to the public good.
Big Tech is training AI on thousands of TV/film scripts. I spoke to showrunners, IP and business affairs lawyers — as well as the programmer at The Atlantic who examined this data set — to find out what happens next
