Raskin: We are a big tent. We must be a huge, vast tent. I say this is a party that’s got room for Marjorie Taylor Greene if she wants to come over.

The Files and their revelations are making so many people confused because they think conservatives actually ever opposed pedophilia, just cause they used the word against their enemies

This is what liberal brainrot does, it makes you incapable of understanding your enemy

rewatching Jormungand again, I'm afraid
I keep coming back to this anime cause it's just really good and the OST has a permanent spot in my music playlist

You can hate AI for a lot of reasons, but calling it plagiarism is really just not meaningful.
You've either stretched the term so far it can apply to practically every single derivative work, or you've defined "plagiarism" to just also mean "something made by an AI"

What's about to happen is really quite fascinating
Mamdani has just won, handily, he's Mayor. He has no experience worth mentioning, his primary opponent is a known quantity (granted, not all good) and he's openly a Muslim.
Despite this, he has won on message, he has won on a sort of "real charisma"

Today in Minecraft, I have become annoyed at the inefficiency of hoppers.

My gold farm produces too many items for hoppers to handle, the item sorters I put down just clog up entirely

There is only one sane solution
I must construct an astonishing amount of item sorters with minecart feeds

I think "degeneracy" is the only term other than "cancel culture" I know of that have undergone something like a reverse co-option, where the original usage is very purposeful, if amorphous, a sort of "that's the enemy. Get them" shorthand, but the "progressives" have decided to soften and cloak it

It's unbelievable how much Minecraft has been updated and expanded, but golden carrots, and steak for early game, remain the only relevant food items

There's all this variety to work with, but there is no reason to eat any other animal than the cow, and no other plant than carrot

I genuinely don't know how you could, as a republican running for congress, get a better layup than an opponent about whom you can outright say, on stage and without facing any consequences because it's just true, something like "Until earlier this year, my opponent had a Nazi tattoo. For 20 years"

Honestly the ills of AI production would at least be somewhat easier to accept if it had an upshot, like it actually improved something, anything.

But it's just a toy.
A very expensive toy.

Even if you're conceptually fine with media written by AI, it's shit at that too

Personally I think all research on political affiliations and attitudes towards this or that is inherently without value when it stretches from "very, very liberal" to "very, very conservative" for the same reason I think a study referring to reverse as "very stationary" is untrustworthy.

I do not like how much sense the dark forest makes to me and part of it is because it is very depressing but a lot of it is because it's a plot mcguffin for a nearly 2decade old sci-fi book that was just kinda dished out towards the end rather than some Big Important Book by a Known Intellectual

I mean, beyond the whole "well Ghandi's thing didn't really work as well as people like to believe and wasn't the only thing going on" thing, it's also worth noting that, unlike the US, India wasn't an autonomous nation doing All That Shit because a large segment of Indian society wanted them to.
We’re in a moment now where it would be worth people taking three hours to watch Gandhi, particularly the scene of the salt march. There is value to making the brutality of your opponent so plain as day that no one can argue with it. The clarity of that brought down an empire

I said this shit on the former bird website too, but Trump voters have gotta be the first people in all of democracy's history who feel betrayed because the guy they voted for *didn't* lie about what he was gonna do, but actually did the shit he promised them.

The US, and the whole world with it, is headed for such an insane cliff, man
"The bottom fell out" is going to be a positive spin on the situation when this goes belly up
"The hundreds of billions of dollars companies are investing in AI now account for an astonishing 40 per cent share of US GDP growth this year... In a way, then, America has become one big bet on AI."
America is now one big bet on AI
It’s seen as the magic fix for every threat to the US economy

What kind of person names their son "Keir" anyway?
That sounds like the technical name for some part on a spaceship, not a Guy

There really is something kind of pathetic about contemporary right wingers.
At least the fash of yesteryear had cooler vibes, if only because they were content with getting to wear the boot, and didn't poop their pants because you didn't LIKE the boot.

Inspired by a video that appeared on my youtube home page (I have not yet watched it, this is really just a result of the title) it just occurred to me

Unofficial "patches" for games, ostensibly fixing bugs and the like, can't ever be entirely neutral, can they?
They have to decide what is a bug.

>“None of this is true,” a White House official said in response to a request for comment. “Just another desperate attempt by the failing Rolling Stone.”

I like how they called Trump "a White House official" like he isn't the guy who lives there at the moment.

Honestly really crazy how a guy whose name is one letter away from Osama was the president directly following Bush

Genuinely herculean campaign effort

What's fascinating about the Google AI is it is so uniquely poorly trained.
Any other of the big LLMs would only say this is specifically told, and are usually very good at "recalling" any information that appears frequently in written works

But the Google AI is almost always just, you know, wrong.
my dad was always saying this
