Interesting...when I was a kid, I used to empty the clothes out of my wardrobe and sleep under the lot of them; I found the weight comforting!

Did you know?

Weighted blankets can reduce stress, anxiety, and even chronic pain.

Whenever I need to feel more grounded and calm, I crawl under my weighted blanket like a hibinating bear 🐻

Perhaps one will be your next self-care purchase!

Major props to anyone who DOESN'T have anxiety or just a general sense of impending doom

Seems near impossible during the current state of things

Hope the sun rises soon

A great entry to the blog today, a fantastic read to get away from the commuting doom scroll on my way to work.

Whilst I make videos which are focused around me talking a lot, I struggle with public speaking a lot. It's very different behind a screen with 100 cuts.
My newest article is for anyone struggling with public speaking. I'm not just talking about big speeches or presentations, but even regular interactions that cause nerves 🎤🎙️

So, if you're looking for easy tips for public speaking, check it out -

Another Friday appears

I'm super glad to get through another work week

But it's kinda deflating knowing I spend 70% of the week waiting for the other 30%

My cat always seems to know when I'm getting tense. She'll sneak over and just flop herself on me 🐱

Pet cuddles are a great example of deep pressure stimulation, which can ease our anxiety and help us relax

Most of the time I have a pretty good idea why I'm anxious

But sometimes I don't know what's making me feel that way.

The 'there are enemies nearby' music is just louder some days.

Cool fact of the day

The ancient Greeks referred people who inspired others as 'muses'... And the word 'museum' comes from the Greek 'mouseion, which was a sacred place dedicated to the muses

The past few years I've been really trying to improve myself.

I wanted to be more productive, fulfilled, and motivated.

I was sick of listening to surface-level 'advice' and I decided to take a deeper dive into our minds. That way I could find out what has been *proven* to help people like me.

The BEST thing I did this year was start a personal project (my blog).

I love nurturing something and putting my all into it.

It's *mine* and I don't have to worry about anyone else's input.

Even if I get 0 views or success, it's still mine, and I can't put into words how special that is
