I’m the proud daughter of immigrants who fled authoritarianism. In fact, my dad is the most patriotic American I know.

It’s devastating to watch the Trump Admin wage a war on immigrant communities across this country. We can’t stand for it, and we will hold them accountable.

The fact that Trump’s minders didn’t stop him from announcing his ridiculous, fake “pardon” on Truth Social should worry us all. A person with a loose grasp on reality and a lack of impulse control has the nuclear codes.

This was the predictable outcome of eight Senate Democrats caving to Trump last month — but it doesn’t have to be this way. Next year, we have the opportunity to elect Democrats who will actually use their power and fight back.

Unfortunately, the leverage Democrats had to extract real policy changes was squandered under Schumer’s failed leadership. Instead of holding the line to force negotiations on a real solution, he allowed a surrender that Republicans seized as fuel for the fire for their extremist healthcare agenda.

AOC: We're looking that there could be a cycle where R+10 seats flip to Democrats. And so if Republicans want to draw a map that makes them more vulnerable to that, that's their decision to do that.

Raju: Do you think there will be a blue wave?

AOC: I think so.

The GOP blocked extension of the ACA subsidies. This is morally repugnant, and also everybody knew this fight was lost the second that Senate Dems surrendered on the shut down last month. In the coming primaries, we're looking for Dems who will actually use their power and fight back.

Trump doesn't have this authority.

States are filling a void left by the federal government's failure to hold AI companies accountable.

But after those companies donated millions to Trump's campaign, his inauguration fund, and his ballroom, Trump is doing their bidding. This cannot stand.

Impeachment is a tool for political accountability, not a “sacred” constitutional ritual. If it were truly about evidence, the Senate would’ve convicted Trump unanimously after his coup attempt—the same way every jury has unanimously found him liable or guilty when the facts actually matter.
