I got a new memory foam pillow for back + side sleepers as my previous one is in the UK. It's great but none of the normal pillowcases fit it, so I ordered the custom fit one, and it only comes in one style and apparently that one style is "Next Generation Enterprise officer quarters".

I'd love to date Deanna Troi, but the very knowledge she's an empath would prompt anxious, intrusive thoughts. He hair falls the wrong way for a moment, and my brain would be all "SHE'S LWAXANA'S DAUGHTER, HEIR TO THE HOLY RINGS OF BETAZED" and she'd call Riker to have me thrown from an airlock 😭😭😭

The USA is at risk of falling into a dark age, when electronic and physical archives of research and literature will no longer be maintained. The current administration is determined to set back their country's progress by decades.
So I was on vacation and not paying attention to academic library things for most of this week, but today my colleague informed me that ERIC will essentially shut down (no money, no staff, no maintenance) this week, and I'm just at a loss. 1/5
