The WHOI GSU held a rally last month to pressure their employer to include fellows in their contract language. The union has been focused on ensuring that all graduate workers, regardless of their funding source, are treated equally under their employment terms.

The new outline of fungi and fungus-like taxa is out now. Why do we need to do this so often? Because there are so many fungal species and only about 5-10% have descriptions. New genera, families etc are frequently being added to the tree. 🧪 🌍 #fungi #mycosky www.mycosphere.org/pdf/MYCOSPHE...
