#nzpol Monthly jobs rose this month – great! Except we have 36,734 fewer jobs than at the election. There are 17,573 fewer jobs than this time last year. Total wages have fallen 4% in real terms. If the current economic plan is working – its not working for working people. A 🧵

Thread. Because not enough people understand this. Medicaid is a lifeline for pregnant women, children, poor, disabled, veterans and the elderly. If its decimation doesn't impact you now, it will when your senior parents need it. Or your kid serves our country and comes home less than 100%...
