So since I'm basically done with Twitter, but I'm actually invested in this damn thread for myself...

Why do I need that many? I don't.
I need, like, 50.
But it's $7.14 to buy 50, and it's $30.99 to buy 10,000, and I'm fine pay 23-odd dollars to never need to buy them again.
Also, it's just plain goddess-damn hilarious to me.

Got into computers as a little kid, spent almost twenty years not quite being able to make it click as a viable career path, learned that there's a whole career path for people who can glue things together and that it's super cool.
Also helps that I learned that my code does not have to be perfect.

Yikes. I am trying to find a way to turn a USB keyboard into something usable on the GameCube. Cannot find anything. Nothing useful about the protocol, no weird homebrew Git repo that was abandoned a decade ago -- *nothing*.

Extremely sad to hear about the passing of Rob Wieland, and wish the best for his wife and daughter in this trying time. Rob was an absolute gem in our industry, always open to the new and believing in this space getting better and better. I hope we all work to carry his torch and legacy forward.

I got a copy of Andrea Gibson's "You Better Be Lightning", and while I love it, it is so bitterly wonderful, and I have never felt such an inclination to throwing a book for the sin of hurting me so deep.
