I decided to become a Firefox girlie 30 minutes before work on Thursday. 🦊

It was chaotic, but it felt nice to take control of something, even if it’s minor.

I do really need to figure out why it won’t load random things, though. Like I could not figure out how to record myself in Canva today…

Who do folks use for email providers these days?

This millennial has been on Gmail her whole life, but it’s time for a change.

Security, lack of affiliation with spineless billionaires are big factors. If I have to pay, so be it.

Apple finally caved.

They have a nice feature to report things as misnamed.

Why stop at a body of water? There are countless other features that could have a more fitting name, in light of recent events.

Or, simply mark them as closed. After all, we are witnessing the dismantling of our gov.

Bluesky thinks I’m a cat person. I’m an animal person so, sure, I’m happy to see them. But I am mostly a dog and bird person. Specifically birds of prey.

Just putting that out there in case the algorithm wants to work its magic without me devoting two decades to interacting with content first.

THIS. IS. WILD.

I will admit I follow @dadchats.bsky.social for the funnies but he’s a legit attorney. I’ve watched his legal analysis on other topics. So this seems like a truly plausible explanation.

And if this is true, this is really reinforcing the terror I have for our future.
CONTEXT: This particular post is about the EO yesterday purporting to “end birthright citizenship.” Aside from being a valid constitutional right for over a century (1868 for the 14th amendment, 1898 for the SCOTUS ruling), it’s also how Kamala achieved citizenship. That’s not a coincidence.
