Still not great at it, still having a hell of a time.
They wanna be the New York Jets so bad
Packers currently rocking a cool -38% pass rate over expectation, per NFL Next Gen Stats.

Think Justin Fields hype is pretty easy to understand. He ran for 1,100 yards in his first season as a starter in a league where running QBs are thriving, and at OSU he was a REALLY accurate passer with a big arm.

The passing hasn’t been there in the pros but it’s easy to see why believers exist
I've never seen more continuous hype around a QB as mediocre. It's mystifying.

I like this!! I always wanted Fields as a Jet over Zach, but glad I get my wish several years later.
🚨 🚨 🚨

The Jets are signing QB Justin Fields, per me and
@tompelissero.bsky.social, as Gang Green gets a new starter. Fields says goodbye to Pittsburgh after 1 year.

He gets a 2-year deal worth $40M with $30M guaranteed.

I don’t like the fit with Seattle for Darnold. I think that’s a team that is not set up to help him succeed.

Trading away their star WR prior to making this a move is a choice.

Breaking: Former Vikings QB Sam Darnold reached an agreement today on a three-year, $100.5 million contract including $55 million guaranteed with the Seattle Seahawks, sources tell Adam Schefter.

I have heard that there’s increasing optimism that the #Jets will land Justin Fields — but still work to be done, and always the shot a surprise team swoops in or Pittsburgh changes course.

But right now, especially as Steelers mull over Aaron Rodgers, Jets have a good shot.

Jets having made no moves yet feels like such an odd, but welcome, start to FA.

I don’t hate this list at all.
As for the #Jets, this is a list of some of the players I’ve heard they are either targeting or considering:

QB Justin Fields
OT Matt Peart
OT Dan Skipper
WR Josh Palmer
WR Tim Patrick
TE Juwan Johnson
DT Levi Onwuzirike
LB Cody Barton
DB Ifeatu Melifonwu
DL Michael Hoecht
S Justin Simmons

Great points by Connor. I’m not convinced the Jets can beat anyone at this point because they spend most of their time beating themselves and looking like a group that’s just collecting checks.

Made me realize that if I were a head coach I’d be awful at those sideline interviews.

“Coach, break down what went wrong that half.”

“Yeah, well, our QB couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn and our running back couldn’t find a hole if you highlighted and put neon signs”

“Great, thanks Coach”
Eliminate coach sideline interviews. They're a waste of everybody's time and add nothing of value, imo.

We will never see another player like LeBron.

The previous oldest player was 34-year-old LeBron James.
