My brother and I almost drowned as children because everyone in the pool thought we were just really good swimmers. The only reason we survived is because someone happened to swim by and we grabbed them. It is so important that people learn what drowning ACTUALLY looks like.
Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.

For those failing to get the "copilot" AI off their Microsoft Word --
If you proceed with canceling Microsoft Office, you'll get a "wait wait don't go!" screen where they suddenly offer you "Microsoft 365 Personal Classic" -- which *doesn't include AI* and is actually cheaper! Weird workaround.
