Saturday, WE THE PEOPLE, will show our power!

On April 5th, we will say, in one voice: HANDS OFF!

HANDS OFF our democracy.

HANDS OFF our voting rights.

HANDS OFF our SS, Medicare and Medicaid.

Today's Good Trouble: call the CDC and demand they restart work on the flu vaccine for next year.
The CDC and FDA are endangering the availability and affordability of next year's flu vaccine - which could cost lives. Wouldn't it be great if lots of people called 800-232-4636 (docket CDC-2025-0003) to say they want their families and communities protected?

Federal health officials want to hear from you about vaccines. Give them an earful. - The Boston Globe
If the FDA and CDC sit on their hands, next season the flu shot will be a lot more expensive, if you can find it at all. That’s a deadly proposition.

The Heritage Foundation let slip a DOGE survey that was intended for their right-wing members and sycophants. Would be a Darn Shame™ if we all took a moment to answer it. Several times. In different browsers.

Today, I'm sharing a blog post by Molly White explaining crypto market cap and notional value. In honor of #47 attempting to rob taxpayers of dollars to build a crypto reserve for his Cryptobro buddies to ransack, learn why valuation is often a grift.

A family member of mine worked literally her entire life for the federal government. I never knew her politics, but I can't imagine she'd approve of our current state.
Support our federal civil service, folks. A lot is gonna go horribly wrong without them.
REPOST if you support our federal workforce and know how dedicated they are to their jobs. Show them you appreciate them!

Someone out there has taken "good trouble" to the *next level.* Kudos.
This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Something to brighten your day--a thread full of Nazis getting punched. Enjoy.
The response was entirely positive, so let the Nazi Punch of the Day begin. It seems appropriate to start with a classic. This is from Captain America Comics #1. The cover date was March 1941, but from what I've read, it was on the shelves several months earlier.

Brilliant statement: “Every minute you waste in rationalising this madness is a precious opportunity to oppose it that you’ll never get back.“
As a random psychologist in Vancouver I’m sorry to have to point this out to you, but please know as you watch the horrors unfold in the coming months & years:

Every minute you waste in rationalising this madness is a precious opportunity to oppose it that you’ll never get back

The goal is anarchy
