When I got my last job, the archetype for the position was "young pretty girl to look good in store"
I was hired because the supervisor was tired of doing most of the stuff and needed someone more experienced. After almost a year of being burdened with more work that I was paid, I quit last week.

Yesterday, I learned that my boss actually fought to have me hired over other candidates because of my experience. I mean, it's understandable, but until that day I always thought I was the last option, as I've been in everything all my life. My emotions are mixed.
