I am rejoicing in the absence of trump rallies and the complete dearth of those ridiculous speeches he used to give that contained hundreds of lies and mountains of self aggrandizement and arrogance. His win is a complete nightmare but his current silence is a small consolation.

I'm in a quandary. I've always followed the news (mostly AP and Reuters) because I think it's important to be educated but I really can't face seeing his face or hearing his stupid voice spout lies and arrogance. I look forward to the day when he just ceases to exist.

Today I committed. I've held onto my old Twitter account thinking of what I might lose but today I realised if I keep the account elon can count me a supporter and that's the opposite of what I want to be. Goodbye Twitter - it's blue skies from now on!
