I just don't understand how people can watch the horror in Gaza and not feel sympathy for the residents. Compassion for their suffering does not make you antisemitic - why can't people see that?

I guess this is what Germany felt like in the 1930s. I hold onto the hope that there are enough good people in the US to eventually bring this regime down but it's scary and depressing to watch. Shame on everyone in Congress still supporting this insanity.

What depresses me is that many of these people are willfully and deliberately ignorant. They don't want to know facts - they just want to hate people who are smarter or have more than they do. Facts might show them their own ignorance. There's no redeeming these people.

Some of the worst people I've ever met call themselves Christians. They use their religion as a weapon to judge and persecute others. I would rather live in a neighborhood of black transgender undocumented immigrants than a single 'Christian' family.
