Your kids get a max of two toys and then grow up to work in the same factory as their father and grandfather screwing in tiny screws. It’s called The American Dream.

I could be wrong about this but I really think most Americans do not want to be forced to “do their own research” about food & drug & product safety and would rather that the government agencies that have been sorting that all out for them for decades not be obliterated in the name of “efficiency.”

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

Friendly reminder. In the United States, criminals are entitled to due process. Even if you pay hush money rig an election, steal top secret documents, or incite a mob to overthrow the government; no matter how egregious your crimes, you’re entitled to due process.

Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?

Notably, in his media availability in El Salvador, @vanhollen.senate.gov truthfully keeps saying that Abrego Garcia was "illegally abducted" and "disappeared" instead of the more antiseptic, and factually incorrect, "deported."

If rights like free speech and due process only apply to some people, then they aren’t really rights, and we are no longer a nation of laws.

The possibility of abduction by a sovereign and imprisonment abroad is one criterion that separates democracies from dictatorships.

The Declaration of Independence called the British king tyrannical for transporting Americans, “beyond Seas to be tried for pretended Offenses.”

A lot of people seem to think following the U.S. Constitution is optional—like picking which shoes to wear in the morning. It’s not. If you’re within the boundaries of the United States, the Constitution applies to you.

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

García and over 200 other immigrants were denied DUE PROCESS. These men were NOT DEPORTED. They were kidnapped, trafficked, and sent to a DEATH CAMP paid by OUR TAX DOLLARS all because of the color of their skin. The WH must be held accountable for these crimes. Thank you for your efforts, do more!

This is what Musk and DOGE have *actually* tried to do:

-- Kill USAID (investigating Starlink)
-- Kill CFPB (regulator for X to be payment app)
-- Move $2.3 BILLION contract from Verizon to Starlink
-- Force Social Security Administration to use X exclusively

I still can’t figure out when “we can deport you” turned into “we can put you in a hell hole prison in a third country, indefinitely, with no legal recourse.”
