This year has been one of the persistent challenges, and it has prompted me to reflect deeply on the burdens and responsibilities of leadership. As I close out 2024 and look ahead to 2025, one word keeps standing out to me: courage.

I’ve been thinking about how often we lead well—and still hesitate to say, “I did that.”

This isn’t about ego. It’s about being honest about what we make possible.

Leadership isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like results.

This is just creepy as hell. I’d never want to work for a company that wants to surveil employees’ day-to-day.

People have got to push back on this kinda stuff.

It’s disturbing, but at the same time ppl will recognize this is not longer a legitimate institution.

Artists and art lovers will always find genuine artistic expression and they’ll make spaces for it to live.

An institution is not what makes art art.

This is what they mean when they said they wanted to "run the United States like a business"--strip it of everything of value and make off with the money.
With Musk and DOGE, does it feel like the US has been taken over by private equity?
Has private equity ever made anything better?
