The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

All. Of. This. Vaccines save lives. And herd immunity matters! It’s is PRIVILEGE that allows folks to say they don’t believe in them or can decide to opt out or not believe in science. Because when the rest of society does? They have benefited already
About this Florida vaccine story:

When they were little - 1 yr and 3 1/2 - my two older boys, who’d had all their shots, got whooping cough.

We asked their pediatrician what would’ve happened if they hadn’t been vaccinated.

“Oh, they’d have died.”

I’m sorry, what medical school did Kennedy go to again? What are his credentials?

Utter horseshit. And I say this as a longtime DC resident who has raised my kid in DC public schools, happily played in our parks and now encourage my teen to take public transportation. This occupation is destroying our local businesses, our restaurants, our economy and scaring our community
Stephen Miller on DC residents: "For the first time in their lives, they can use the parks, they can walk on the streets. You have people who can walk freely at night without having to worry about being robbed or mugged. They are wearing their watches again."

The Trump administration has refused to say how many workers have been lost. My @propublica.org colleagues did the analysis & here, in unprecedented detail, is what they found:

In total, 20,500+ workers — 18% of the Department of Health and Human Services’ workforce — have left or been pushed out.

You can't teach U.S. history without "divisive" narratives. Slavery wasn't "unifying." The Japanese incarceration wasn't "unifying." The anti-immigrant Operation Wetback (real name) wasn't "unifying."
It's history's job to tell the truth, not cover up past racism to pave the way for future racism.
