the UK NHS needs to GO UK Digitall, now the UK can do that and provide real careers (yep those care ers will be non clinical, that is the reality NOW) or the US can, the UK NHS belongs to all so all should decide, not just the entitled few who will not really be impacted, hope that makes sense ? !
December 19, 2025 at 9:25 AM
it is not just the RDs who have struggled with their careers over the last 15+ years you know ! some have struggled financially far more than others ! any way, finish on good NEWS ...
December 19, 2025 at 9:22 AM
why ? because the system is inefficient (efficiency = quality / cost) inefficiency impacts BOTH quality and COST
How will A&E function if 85% of hospital activity moves to 'the community'? Why the massive reorganisation & privatisation? @sectorsocial.bsky.social

if you are an agile player, i am - comms via outlook slows stuff down, much better to use MS teams
December 19, 2025 at 7:56 AM
from a digitall perspective NHS ORGs have fallen 10 +/- years behind reality
Solidarity is at the heart of our movement.

That’s why I will always support healthcare workers in their fight to restore their pay, protect their patients and save our NHS.
December 19, 2025 at 6:09 AM
still 3 3 4 ?
No changes to NHS numbers policy.
December 19, 2025 at 6:08 AM
you know what ? i think the physicians sometimes experience exactly the same thing ! LovL
ah, the incomplete relief of fixing a code problem but not really understanding why it works now
December 18, 2025 at 3:59 PM
culturall change in the NHS ? teams get stuff done, not meetings, that applies even when there is chaos, probably more so
December 18, 2025 at 1:27 PM
NHS work politics, common speak up about the digitall or step down NOW
December 18, 2025 at 1:05 PM
people drive the NHS and people are V important but so is accountability, let me qualify ... appropriate financial accountability, doesn't matter if it is PS or PS, that is the way my world, the real world, works, wot about yours ?
December 18, 2025 at 1:03 PM

December 17, 2025 at 11:10 PM
hear is something for health leaders to think about - who needs access to their personall health DATA the most ? the NHS patients or the NHS patients doctors ? I know what I think, what about you ?
December 17, 2025 at 10:39 PM

December 17, 2025 at 10:36 PM
there is way more to the NHS than RDs, and most NHS employees have struggled with their careers over the last 15+ years so why does the BMA think the RDs are so special ? i am listening ...
December 17, 2025 at 10:35 PM
and the photo ? it is already in the public domain

wot does tech and work politics have in common ? when "well" managed, all are "treated" equally, 'appy Christmas kidz
December 17, 2025 at 6:14 PM
so do i W mate and all NHS colleagues have been squeezed over the last 15+ years because it has become inefficient and RDs do not have my support, you can not ignore the balance sheet even if profit is not your motive
I work in the NHS and resident doctors have my full support. NHS staff must have full pay restoration if we are to provide the NHS patients deserve.
Keir Starmer has said that resident doctors have “lost the sympathy” of the public and their NHS colleagues, after members of the BMA voted to continue strike action this week

On Monday, the PM told MPs that he was “really gutted” by the decision, and described it as "irresponsible"
December 17, 2025 at 5:09 PM
better managed tech and data @ the national level is what will save the NHS, common gov.uk you are the best hope to lead this nationall culturall change NOW
December 17, 2025 at 5:04 PM
well managed tech and data is what will save the NHS, but so far V senior NHS leadership have messed IT up
Our member, Dr Martin Blanchard, writes for the December issue of @publicsectorfocus.bsky.social magazine about the risk to patient data and the NHS from big tech.

the NHS work force needs to be restructured
As expected - the BBC knows there is a deliberate slowdown in elective surgery but is still blaming the resident doctors.
While politicians will ask you to blame resident doctors for cancelled surgery, in reality it is a deliberate slowdown to try to balance the books.

my message to BMA - NHS is not just about RDs you know, since 2009 the Vast majority of my NHS colleagues have struggled with pay, with career progression, that sort of stuff, NHS SENIOR leadership is a law unto itself, the real workforce struggles on to KEEP the NHS afloat, the NHS needs to GO DIGITALL=
December 17, 2025 at 11:05 AM
fairly, treating all equally, "free at the point of Use";
December 15, 2025 at 8:13 AM
common BMA, common RDs, the NHS will always be riddled with politics, party politics and NHS politics, so plhay the gorwn up game that is politics, just play it
