hear is something for health leaders to think about - who needs access to their personall health DATA the most ? the NHS patients or the NHS patients doctors ? I know what I think, what about you ?

December 17, 2025 at 10:36 PM
there is way more to the NHS than RDs, and most NHS employees have struggled with their careers over the last 15+ years so why does the BMA think the RDs are so special ? i am listening ...

wot does tech and work politics have in common ? when "well" managed, all are "treated" equally, 'appy Christmas kidz
December 17, 2025 at 6:14 PM
so do i W mate and all NHS colleagues have been squeezed over the last 15+ years because it has become inefficient and RDs do not have my support, you can not ignore the balance sheet even if profit is not your motive
I work in the NHS and resident doctors have my full support. NHS staff must have full pay restoration if we are to provide the NHS patients deserve.
Keir Starmer has said that resident doctors have “lost the sympathy” of the public and their NHS colleagues, after members of the BMA voted to continue strike action this week

On Monday, the PM told MPs that he was “really gutted” by the decision, and described it as "irresponsible"

better managed tech and data @ the national level is what will save the NHS, common gov.uk you are the best hope to lead this nationall culturall change NOW
December 17, 2025 at 5:04 PM
well managed tech and data is what will save the NHS, but so far V senior NHS leadership have messed IT up
Our member, Dr Martin Blanchard, writes for the December issue of @publicsectorfocus.bsky.social magazine about the risk to patient data and the NHS from big tech.

the NHS work force needs to be restructured
As expected - the BBC knows there is a deliberate slowdown in elective surgery but is still blaming the resident doctors.
While politicians will ask you to blame resident doctors for cancelled surgery, in reality it is a deliberate slowdown to try to balance the books.

my message to BMA - NHS is not just about RDs you know, since 2009 the Vast majority of my NHS colleagues have struggled with pay, with career progression, that sort of stuff, NHS SENIOR leadership is a law unto itself, the real workforce struggles on to KEEP the NHS afloat, the NHS needs to GO DIGITALL=
December 17, 2025 at 11:05 AM
fairly, treating all equally, "free at the point of Use";
December 15, 2025 at 8:13 AM
common BMA, common RDs, the NHS will always be riddled with politics, party politics and NHS politics, so plhay the gorwn up game that is politics, just play it
December 15, 2025 at 8:08 AM
the majority of roles, clinical & non clinical,in the NHS have collapsed since 2008,& the truth is ... they needed to to keep up with reality i.e. a digitall world, the primary purpose of the NHS is not to provide careers, but to treat all equally, free, the ONLY way that can keep going is to GO DIGITALL
NHS data reveal 'collapse' in GP jobs in England

Availability of GP jobs remains far below the level seen in 2022/23

Plus continued lies by ⁦‪Labour‬⁩ about 2600 new GPs in ARRS highlighted with just over 1100 FTE in post but other GP jobs gone!
December 13, 2025 at 8:16 PM
cruel but it needs to be said - how do you judge the performance of a SENIOR NHS employee on a salary of > £100,000 ? I think you have to use DATA/performance metrics, the alternative ? "he/she is doing a really good job", times have changed work mates and the NHS needs to & needs to V quickly ...
December 13, 2025 at 7:35 PM
the reason why the NHS is broken ? the world is real and the real world has gone digitall, leaving the NHS behind to catch up, all the distractions will not help it catch up, what will ? more digitall 😀
December 13, 2025 at 12:56 PM
in order for the NHS to survive the PATIENTS need far more = access to THEIR NHS DATA, but not half as much as their NHS DRs DO ! why oh why aren't SENIOR DRs and Consultants shouting out about lack of = access to PATIENT DATA
December 12, 2025 at 9:28 PM
avoid the gridlock on the CUH NHS FT site, not being funny, sum X the whole place locks up, having hospitals in the middle of business parks might "look good" but i do not think it makes any sense - all about patient access to the NHS hospital and to their NHS data
Feel free to drive to Addenbrookes, wait for a parking space, and then pay through the nose for it.

better than nothing Dr,w'out the DATA there would be even more spin, yep, financial & DATA accountability IN senior ROLES,£ is just DATA,i am ok with an unlimited amount of DATA - BUT THERE IS NOT AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF £ - the NHS workforce eeds to be restructured V quickly, 1X in for 1X is nonsense
How true is this, or is it earlier than previous years?
December 12, 2025 at 11:41 AM
all served by their NHS are entitled, legally, to access all their NHS DATA
December 12, 2025 at 8:19 AM
wow ! that brings back soooo many memories
Phew !

That is a very personal question, thank you.

Really near me is some public art.

The DNA double helix and stripes representing ATCG, the order of which is the sequence of BRCA2.

This cycle path leads all the way to Addenbrookes Hospital and the MRC-Laboratory of Molecular Biology.
