And honestly.... Billy Crystal can buy another house and rebuild. But he and his wife have lived there and raised children and grandchildren since 1979. You know how many memories, momentos, etc. they lost?!? That their children and grandchildren lost? That's devastating, wealthy or not.
Also, being a celebrity or actor does not mean rich. Many actors making less than $100,000 a year depending on their gigs
Altadena is a Black community and it has been completely destroyed. I think folks are frustrated that the focus is on celebrity when they aren’t the only ones impacted.
