Broke into all of Michael Penix's snaps as the Falcons process shifts from playoffs to evaluating their young players.

An encouraging game overall, particularly in terms of play-making from Penix, but we saw some of his flaws this season show up once more.

Hawks won a road game where the refs basically spit in their face from start to finish *and* the Hawks made a ton of mistakes down the stretch.

Think Risacher getting some closing experience is good for him, keep doing it Quinn.

And maybe play Mo Gueye man. The fuck lol

Fuck the refs this game but shoutout Vit

Watching Jalen and Dyson both pass up open 3s is pretty frustrating

Packers should definitely fire him and the Falcons should definitely immediately hire him no questions asked.
Hard to believe LaFleur would be on the hot seat but these last two losses can make you question the direction of the Packers

Torcher run by Vit, sheesh

Idc how much people try to convince me to, I simply will not trust a Jordan Love led offense in high stakes games.

Consistency is key!
Finally, the Falcons are once again pacing to finish with a negative point differential. They haven't had a positive one since 2017, and they've only managed it twice in the past 13 seasons

Times like these I try and remind myself the median voter is extremely dumb, checked out, and basically just blames whoever is in charge for whatever thing mildly inconveniences them at the time.

Byrum Brown YOU ARE A FALCON
sifting through some numbers from earlier today, michael penix and the falcons had a day to forget on 3rd down

1/5 for -4 yards on throws
3 sacks, including a strip sack recovered by indy

combining for -31 yards on 8 dropbacks for *-3.88* yards per dropback on third down

I will take one Kevin Stefanski on the Falcons.
i do not understand why kevin stefanski is employed

Caleb/Maye were such good headliners for a QB class, glad to see them both be as good as I thought they'd be

Crazy 4th down play by McCarthy, jeez

Not having to cope about a young QB >>>
Drake Maye... what a throw. 🥵

Minnesota special teams is an absolute disaster

That is an unfortunate interception by McCarthy. Jefferson stumbling deep downfield 1-on-1 with a guy.
November 9, 2025 at 7:43 PM
That is the lamest penalty of all time on Dallas Turner. What the fuck is he supposed to do, not properly tackle Lamar fucking Jackson who can scramble for 40 yards at literally any point?

I think my main issue with Penix is I struggle to think of what an offense built around him really looks like.

Doesn't have the consistent accuracy for short game.

Struggles to target MoF at an elite level.

Can't do a ton with him in the RPO world.

Where are the think pieces
JJ McCarthy with a beaut to Nailor deep

Shoutout Jonathan Taylor for ending the evil reign of Terry Fontenot in Berlin, really paying homage to history.
November 9, 2025 at 5:55 PM
Danny Dots probably just iced it there.
November 9, 2025 at 5:47 PM
Penix is just not accurate enough at this time to be a good, consistent NFL QB. Hope he gets there
November 9, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Lost in the mess of the end of regulation but zero reason for the Falcons to have taken the ball to start OT. Simply objectively wrong decision making
November 9, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Rooting for the Falcons to tie here. I feel like I've been robbed given that among all the Falcons weird moments in history, I haven't got to witness one
