Oh, I absolutely did that. Just to show you my real age, I remember when it was a dime to make a call. And penny candy meant several small pieces for a penny. Quarter candy bars. Quarter Cokes. Going into the corner store bare foot with a nickle feeling rich. Good times.

I regularly used a pay phone to get my mom to pick me up from the skating ring. Really anywhere I was on a given weekend where at 14 I was allowed to roam free until 10 pm.

I've used a rotary-dial phone and had to temper my conversations with friends around the possibility that someone else in the house might pick up the line and just hear the conversation going on.

If you look close you can see that same line across the chest on the jacket. It is the same guy without the back pack.
