Based on testing I'm led to believe when the 12.0 patch drops, everyone's transmog will be undone and they'll have to pay to get their old look back.
Which 100% reinforces my feedback the cost of setting up an Outfit slot for the first time should be free.

Regardless of where they land on the pricing, I think it'd be a great idea for the "first time" setup of an outfit to have no cost to it.
Helps to dull the initial impact and make gamers think carefully on which of their outfits are worthy of the slot.

I feel very strongly that the Devourer, the first new glass cannon "caster" with no spammable heal button or tank pet since the inception of the game, should not arrive at the bottom end of the "soloability disparity" paradigm that #WorldOfWarcraft just has.

Update: Looking at pre-BFA dungeons with a "devourer" filter on loot, I see that "mage blades" are no longer "main hand only." So yes, if you set your loot spec to Devourer, you no longer see non-glaive agi one handed blades, but you WILL apparently see int-based one handed blades. #WorldOfWarcraft
This is currently my single issue for #WorldOfWarcraft #Midnight beta, as someone intending to level a DDH from scratch as soon as possible. Furthermore, I don't know where DDHs are supposed to get weapons if they go off the beaten glaive-path of post-legion content. No WOTLK chromie time for DDHs?

You are allowed to like Midnight. Form your own opinions if you have concerns. There are direct, private lanes of feedback. The Outfit Slots you unlock (the amount of outfits with situations tied to them) will be for your whole Warband in Midnight, it just isn't warband-functioning right now

The fact that the prices don't scale with level has me hopeful that something here is not working as intended. Because in an expansion with so much focus on the new player experience, making transmog inaccessible just seems bonkers. As do these gold costs in general.

Just discovered earning 100 points in a Midnight profession lets you put up a sign advertising that profession, so you can theoretically fly around your neighbourhood looking for the skills you need. How cool is that?

#FFXIV appears to be cooking something new... another "rebirth" perhaps? I can't help but think that they are ridiculously unapproachable, and the vets that might complain if Yoshida wants to fix that have to consider: You wanna lose your house? XIV should do whatever they need to attract new blood.

I find for obscenely huge streamers, I prefer structured, longer youtube clips over trying to catch them live. The live benefit is just gone when they're that big, and ability to pause is nice.
