I'm so excited to see how ruthlessly the utility companies have price gouged Nashville and surrounding areas after the catastrophic ice storm. Some folks are going on three weeks without power and I'm terrified of my luxury-of-utilities bills after losing a week of work to the ice.

commission for @mareastrorum on tumblr, who asked me to come up with what Elatis could look like in her fanfic! i was absolutely thrilled to figure out the themes and color scheme for a painting of a character that would be undeniably attractive and sultry, but deeply unsettling at the same time 🐝
