commission for @mareastrorum on tumblr, who asked me to come up with what Elatis could look like in her fanfic! i was absolutely thrilled to figure out the themes and color scheme for a painting of a character that would be undeniably attractive and sultry, but deeply unsettling at the same time 🐝

Victoria and L are villains who do the dirty work no hero will touch, but Carmen and Anja are messy scumbags, so they can be presented with an objectively correct course of action, look at each other, and make a bad, self-serving choice instead while the other whips out her phone to get it on video.

Zoya doesn't always get a say in whether or not she's going to choose violence, or what sets her off.

Contrary to popular belief, Vie prefers to smooth things over with words and (false) promises. That failing, she understands some situations can't be handled with words and some people don't deserve them, so a swift and decisive bloodbath might get her message across better.

Anja will do almost anything to avoid a hostile physical altercation. If she's thrown into one and has no choice, she's running away and crying to her mother.

Carmen isn't much of a fighter and prefers subtle manipulation or outright intimidation, but will curb stomp a bitch in heels if that fails.
