Shivikai was right, this is hilarious (and also cool as fuck)

I work in veterinary medicine full time and by the time I get home and finish household chores after a shift, it's 8:30 or 9pm and I have no energy to make food, let alone draw. And on days off the compassion fatigue makes me too exhausted to draw either.

Oh, no, babydoll, let's back up a bit and look at the flaming trash fire of chaos scribbles which I never show anyone because at that point I'm ashamed and tearfully whispering "trust the process" to myself.

Vie shelters others fairly frequently, whether they're visiting, passing through, or in trouble and in need of a soft landing. Very "mi casa es su casa" approach, so long as they're polite and follow her rules.

Anja has given shelter to a defector and a kid, both of whom live with her now.

I always said if we broke up I'd want it to be on these kinds of terms. I don't like losing people I value, even when we change and how we fit into one another's lives has to change.

(Also pls no "yeah, fuck ur ex!!" kind of energy, we'll chill and she didn't do anything to warrant it.)

I don't usually post personal life stuff here so I'll probably bury this in reposts later, but I feel okay for the first day in years and maybe it'll help someone else out there who feels trapped. Any imperfect step away is still a step in the right direction.
