News today that ICE shot a woman is chilling. The videos online show that there are some abusive, masked thugs masquerading as law enforcement.

Nobody deserves this. The courts need to step in.

According to the City of Paris, in the last 10 years 150K trees have been planted & 45ha of parks created in the already hot city, all intended to not only improve quality-of-life today, but also help the city adapt to & manage summer heatwaves of 50℃ (122F) by 2050.

Just the start.

Common sense.

Miller’s apparent elevation to shadow president and his seeming intent to declare an end to the constitutional order would, in any other administration, be treated as a executive branch meltdown that was immensely embarrassing for the president and requiring Miller’s immediate removal

What are we losing by offloading our thinking to A.I.?
Why Even Try if You Have A.I.?
As A.I. grows more powerful, we may be more and more tempted to give up in advance and let it figure out things for us. What will we lose as a result?

I have written and deleted a lot of posts but I keep thinking about how the brutal assassination of Minnesota State senator Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, and their beloved dog Gilbert in June did not prompt this same level of calls for empathy, sympathy, and flags at half-mast.

The fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

Happy 82nd b’day, Mick Jagger — who left the London School of Economics to pursue music.

“The Rolling Stones were just beginning,” he said. “I thought, ‘Why not give it a go for a year?’ .. I wasn’t trying to be a rock star — I just thought, ‘This looks like more fun than working for Shell Oil.’”

Treasury Department files reviewed by Senator Ron Wyden’s staff members show 4,725 wire transfers, adding up to nearly $1.1 billion, associated with just one of Mr. Epstein’s bank accounts. Follow. The. Money.

DC was my home for 20 years. The ONLY time we ever saw tanks (and it was only a few) was after 9/11 when more terrorist attacks from FOREIGN ENEMIES. We don’t need a wannabe dictator’s $90 million ego parade in our nation’s capital!
In preparation for next week’s parade/demonstration, tanks are being moved into Washington, DC today. Unprecedented.
