Home cook. Sports fan. Public infrastructure enthusiast. I live in Upstate New York and work in a library.
The cables aren't obsolete if you also have ✨ too many adapters ✨
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

A thing about AI in higher ed right now is that half of us are scrambling to deal with the implosion of our information environment that broke reading/writing/source verification, while the other half is trying to achieve a massive institutional buy-in of the very thing that's causing the implosion

Last night I saw Makaya McCraven play at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY.

The last time I saw him was at the Islington Town Hall in North London, November 2022.

Still a bit stunned, and very grateful, that my life turned out this way.

I recommend that you go see some live music.

Please read this chapter to see applied practices of slow librarianship (H/T: @librarianmer.bsky.social), & to see real responses when resilience narratives are presented to library employees. Reveal the gaps & show the impacts for more humane results! Thank you @amandaelaan.bsky.social

Fulham have completed the signing of winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.

A deal was agreed between the two clubs that would surpass the £34million ($43.7m) Fulham paid to sign Emile Smith-Rowe from Arsenal last season, their current club-record signing.
